catholics coming home

At the Church of Saint Dominic we offer a safe
harbor for inactive Catholics who may be considering
a return to their faith, but are struggling
to find a way. We offer a supportive environment
to all people searching for a way to come home
or to those simply considering such a journey.
The Church of Saint Dominic provides
a spiritual oasis for good people of every culture
and stripe who are earnestly seeking affirmation
in their faith and answers to life's questions.

"Jesus sent out these Twelve after instructing them thus, "Do not go into pagan territory or enter a Samaritan town. Go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. As you go, make this proclamation,
The Kingdom of heaven is at hand."
Matthew 10:1-7

The church has changed and you may not know it.
Has it been a while since you've been to church?
Are you mad at the Church or God?
Please give us and yourself another chance;
consider coming home.

Catholics Coming Home (CCH) is a parish based program held twice a year
and is designed to reach-out and invite non-practicing/inactive Catholics
to come home to the Catholic Church and resume active practice of their faith.

Catholics Coming Home (CCH) provides updated information
on the basics of Catholicism and offers an opportunity
to share issues of faith in a non-threatening, RCIA-like,
support-group format. The program focus is on our core beliefs
or what it means to be a Catholic, and includes conversation about

  • Coming Home: Challenges and Opportunities
  • Forgiving Ourselves and Others
  • A General Overview of the Sacraments
  • A Focused Overview of the Mass
  • A Focused Overview of Reconciliation/Confession
  • Stewardship: Time, Talent and Treasure

You don't have to wait! In addition to our formal CCH program,
opportunities are available through out the year for confidential
one-on-one discussions focusing on your issues, concerns and questions.
